Orakpo seems to be the most common selection for us, and that makes me very happy. BUT his combine showing has most Mocks calling out Orakpo as the best DE in the draft at a top 10 player, so he very well might not be there for us at #11...

Unfortunately, I think OrSACKpo will be gone by 11. Why do I have this bad feeling that we are going with Pettigrew.....?

I'm starting to feel that way too.. he has come out of the combine as the best DE in the draft IMO... AND many of pre-combine top 10 have seem to fallen some.

I wouldn't be disspointed with Pettigrew, but I would be much happier with Orakpo

The 'odis wasn't supposed to last until our pick either. We're due for some more luck, right?

i guess these would be my 3 best case scenarios...

          1. Raji falls to us
          2. Curry Falls to us
          3. We trade down.

well obviously you want to trade down then... Curry and Raji will be long gone. I'm extremly shocked to see Curry's name listed above in any mock scenario for the Bills.

ya i love that curry is somehow making it to us in one of those mocks. I mean, a dude that is one of the top 5 overall prospects, not to mention the fact that he just tore up the combine when no one else did, is just not going to fall to 11. If I had a farm I'd bet it on that fact.

I just verified that alot of these Mocks listed here have changed and are not post combine mocks...

No I dont think Leodis was slated to go any higher than he did. We got maximum value with that pick which was a very nice change.

sure they should be gone.. but **** happens every damn year.. you have been watching drafts long enough to know that.. im not saying it is going to happen, but one of them could definately be there. or crabtree or someone that no one expected to fall.

We wont know anything till draft day obviously but Ill be shocked if Curry or Raji is there unless they get hurt between now and then.

I just don't think Raji or Curry are players that can fall... They are rated way to high and even higher after the combine....

Crabtree maybe Jenkins maybe.. Maclin yes, but that wouldn't do much to make this team playoff caliber in 2009 though and that just doesn't excite me.

Raji is the only player I think out of Orakpo, Raji and Curry that will drop out of the 3.

I saw many mocks that had KC or NO taking him ... that's higher than we did. He was a player that could have gone higher and no one would have blinked ... that's all I meant.

I'd be shocked if Eugene Monroe was still there at 11. There's a lot of teams ahead of us who need OT's and it's pretty solidified that Monroe and Jason Smith are the top OT's available. I also seriously doubt Curry or Raji will be there at 11.

At this point, Maclin is more of a possibility, though chances still aren't that good that he'll fall to us. Especially considering the WR needs of the teams that pick before 11.
