Originally posted by Tatonkait doesnt say what level they tendered him at. they better not tender him low and let someone come grab him.
I just hope they wrap him up with a deal worthy of sticking around for 4 years +Last edited by ddaryl; 02-25-2009, 09:36 AM.

On the day they hosted free-agent running back Fred Taylor at their team headquarters, the Buffalo Bills retained Fred Jackson's rights with a one-year tender for the minimum $460,000, an NFL source informs me.
The minimum tender was expected, but Jackson doesn't want to sign it. Jackson has insisted he deserves a multiyear contract.
Jackson's agent, Jerry Douglas, wouldn't comment other than to confirm the formality was executed Tuesday. Douglas wouldn't discuss the amount of the tender.
"We can verify that Fred was tendered, which we anticipated," Douglas said.Originally posted by paladin warriorRALPH is drove me nut.

Re: Bills Tender Freddy
Originally posted by floridajoeIt would be unusual to give a long term deal to an ERFA because there is no need to do it. But in this case, it might happen because of how much they like him. They may be working on a new deal now and the tender was necessary to retain his rights.
