frustrating Sabres point

I know every team has stinkers now and then, but the Sabres have played a few stinkers lately. I hope they can get it together before the other teams we are battling for a playoff spot do.

I guess the point is that they have to start putting in more effort for more than half of a game.

Yet even with a top 5 goalie and a top 3 goal scorer, they're are barely a .500 team. How are they supposed to maintain that same record without them? Simple - they can't. The Sabres are an average team that plays average hockey. Even worse, this far into the season, they aren't in good enough shape to play a 60 minute game.

But hey! Ticket and jersey sales are excellent! So management won't do a thing.

Oh well, there's always next year...
