This was kind of a sidenote in his latest post. Supposedly the Sabres are interested in the LA Kings Ersberg, who was starting tonight against the Flyers.

The Sabres are interested in Kings goaltender Erik Ersberg as well. Ersberg is currently in net at the game I am watching...Also heard rumors that the Sabres may have interest in the goalie in the other net at this game...

how cool would that be?

Marty still has a house here, so it wouldnt be a big move for him

Even if it was only until the summer!

This team hasn't been the same since Marty left. Even though he didn't play alot he kept the lockerroom loose with his freewheeling personality. Bring Marty Back!!:coocoo:

Having a thread title starting "I know it's Eklund..." is like starting out a statement with I know it's Losmanwins...

No buts about it.

Why would Philly trade away their starting goalie to another team below them looking to make the playoffs. It would be ******ED!!! Not to mention when Miller gets back Biron is now a super expensive backup.

Biron is an UFA after this year and he is not the starter in Philly anymore.

Didn't know he was UFA after this year.

Did he recently get demoted as starter because he has played way more than Nittimaki

Thurm still has a point, I doubt Philly is going to help a team that is fighting them for the Playoffs

Biron is still the starter, kind of. They both play an near equal amount of time these days.

they would be looking to dump his salary, and we need another goaltender, with miller being out untill the playoffs basically.... makes sense, but also doesnt make sense that philly would trade him to someone they are fighting for a playoff spot

I don't know how anybody can maintain a "job" as a writer when absolutely none of his rumors ever come true. He must own that site or something.

What kills me even more is that people actually pay money to get more of his constantly wrong information.

It is no worse than me paying to go to Bills or Sabres games.

I never knew just how wrong Eklund was until I found the hockeybuzzhogwash site. Now everything I ever read from him I just laugh at because it makes zero sense.
