They better replace him immediately with somebody better or it is the dumbest move of the off season. It might just show that RW is not serious about having this team be a winner. Worth the money or not he was serviceable and just turning the role over to somebody on the roster is a huge mistake.
The Bills had better replace Dockery or else...

...or else we're gonna suck. Having 4 OL playing is no good.
In all seriousness, yes, if there is no one at all lined up, I'm gonna be pissed. that being said, we're not gonna know the full extent of their plan (or lack thereof, god forbid) until after the draft.

Originally posted by Al the Bills FanBecause if it is not at 12:01am then it shows that our Front Office doesn't know what it they are doing by cutting Dockery without having someone else locked up. You never give up a known player and "hope" to sign someone else.
And look at The Patriots. They are masters at signing free agents during the "second" wave. You can't argue with their results.

If they sign Jason Brown in two weeks it is worse than signing him in one day?
Dockery was axed because:
1. He sucked.
2. He was due a significant roster bonus tomorrow.
3. He sucked.
4. He was overpaid.
5. He sucked.
As long as he is replaced at some point (even in the draft!) why is it a mistake at all?
Not to mention the cash it freed up.Originally posted by mysticsotoLecter is right in everything he said.

someone will start another dockery thread saying the same thing as all the other ones!!!"All hockey players are bilingual. They know English and profanity." ~ Gordie Howe
