The Bills had better replace Dockery or else...

They better replace him immediately with somebody better or it is the dumbest move of the off season. It might just show that RW is not serious about having this team be a winner. Worth the money or not he was serviceable and just turning the role over to somebody on the roster is a huge mistake.

One would think that they already have someone in mind (verbal agreement) or I agree this is the dumb move, without a replacement all you have done is create another hole in the line and save a minimal amount of money

They better sign someone at 12:01 AM, and it better be someone better, or just as good as, but cheaper.

I dont think they would cut him for no reason. Lets wait until FA begins. How many Dockery threads are we going to get anyway?

...or else we're gonna suck. Having 4 OL playing is no good.

In all seriousness, yes, if there is no one at all lined up, I'm gonna be pissed. that being said, we're not gonna know the full extent of their plan (or lack thereof, god forbid) until after the draft.

He has a Moorman jersey too...at least that one worked out otherwise his choice of jersey jinxes continues...

Why does it have to someone at 12:01 a.m.? FA starts at 12:00 but doesn't end shortly thereafter. I wouldn't be surprised to see a series of visits to OBD first.

Because if it is not at 12:01am then it shows that our Front Office doesn't know what it they are doing by cutting Dockery without having someone else locked up. You never give up a known player and "hope" to sign someone else.

It happens all the time. I think they know who they want but is there ever a guarantee with FA? I really think they'll make a run at J. Brown but that doesn't mean he'll come here.

And look at The Patriots. They are masters at signing free agents during the "second" wave. You can't argue with their results.

I'm worried about the fact that they mightn't have a replacement lined up, but I understand why they had to make the move today if they were going to make it at all.

When was the Moorman jersey purchased? Was it purchased before Moormans decline?

Why does it have to be immediate?

If they sign Jason Brown in two weeks it is worse than signing him in one day?

                            Dockery was axed because:

                            1. He sucked.
                            2. He was due a significant roster bonus tomorrow.
                            3. He sucked.
                            4. He was overpaid.
                            5. He sucked.

As long as he is replaced at some point (even in the draft!) why is it a mistake at all?

Not to mention the cash it freed up.

someone will start another dockery thread saying the same thing as all the other ones!!!
