It's about god damn time. This should have happened years ago. He was a waste of space and money.

But with the loss of Royal and JP who are we going to bring in to make all of those bonehead plays? Our FO really has their work cut out for them.

Isn't it funny that we take such pleasure in other people's pain? I thought the same thing - "see ya" - then I kinda felt bad for him. He is a great guy whatever we think of his football skills.

Despite the fact that I hated how he fumbled the ball, I'm sure he didn't enjoy turning the ball over.

I'm glad the Bills released him, but I do wish him luck.

It's a sad day. In addition to the locker room rapping, he is the all-time leader in one category -

ratio of premeditated touchdown celebration dances to actual touchdowns

1 td last year. and yes he danced.

He led the league in another made up stat of mine..... fumbles/touch.

I'll never forgive him for taking that big giant step out of the end zone - a complete lack of awareness - costing us a win. I never understood how any receiver could be so careless and stupid.

it's not like we are cheering GM employee layoffs. These are guys making millions of dollars living in cost friendly buffalo. They'll be ok. Plus if they showed any smarts, they got in good with some coaches to make the transition to coaching or scouting.

Yeah baby! It's about time. No more holding our breath while we see him try to catch a TD pass. I will miss him at training camp though. He was always very friendly and signed alot of autos.

he signed your car?

anyway, he was average at best, and the other TE's we still have on the roster are not any better, or worse than him, just likely paid alot less... good move for the team

..add on fumbling with no one around him and the 8 dozen drops over the years and it was amazing he stuck this long.

I think Fine will be better then Royal would have been this year. He showed more to me in his brief appearances as a rookie then Royal ever reallly showed as a full time starter.

Royal had moments but he was so inconsistent and unpredictable.

Glad to see this organization clear out some of these players. I guess Dick and Co. finally realized that this is the NFL, where the goal is to have good, productive players that help you win games, rather than well-liked, good locker-room guys.

Agreed...except...why haven't they kicked out Kelsay yet??? He's probably the biggest loser that is still on the team!!!
