I got this off of BB.com. Thanks to Lee_Evans_fan for the post.
Integrated to team
- Toook the opportunity two years ago when he had chance, and took advantage. Proved in the offseason last year that he could carry more of the workload. Wants to just keep doing what he is doing, and the team knows that he can be relied on carrying the ball more.
Broncos, Pats game.. wow!
- Had the opportunity to carry the ball more. Wanted to showcase what he could do. Had to finish the season strong and leave no doubt in anyone’s mind.
Are you talking with Bils? Long term?
- Tendered (as we all knew). They are still continueing to work out something long term with the team. He will see what happens the next few weeks or so. But they are still in communication in trying to work something out long term. See what his agent and the Bills can do.
Fred and Marshawn.
- Real great friends. He has talked to Lynch recently. Said Lynch knows he put himself in a wrong position. He sees the light and knows that it is time to turn his life around and has to hang out with better company. He is really close to Fred’s family. Fred’s mom and brother called him after incident to talk and help. He knows he will straighten out and get on the right path.
Fred Taylor situation
- Has talked to Lynch about this. Both are very motivated by this. Even if they bring him in it just will be positive competition. He and Lynch strive in competition. Says his whole life he has to compete, and has excelled. Both will embrace comp. and could learn a lot from Taylor. Just anything that would help the team win is good for him.
(not to read into anything, but it sounded to me like he was talking like it was a done deal with Taylor coming to Buffalo. Didn’t talk as and “if” but more as a “when” feeling. But that is just my opinion)
Dockery?
- Surprised, but it is the nature of the business. Front Office has a plan and they seem to want to head in different direction. See what happens. He is planning on calling him later.
Line Overhaul
- Not likely they will get all back, a lot of UFA. But he knows that the front office has a plan and he is sure we will get guys in to play and compete.
Studesville
- Loves, loves, loves him. Lynch and him call him at least once or twice a week during this offseason. They both try to pay him respect by playing hard every game. Always learning little things from him. Stresses the little things.
Every down back.
Still has more to prove, and needs work to be more consistant in running the ball. He has done well the past two years, but has to keep going. Just wants to keep plugging away and make plays.
