hangartnder doesnt even play a 3-4 defense in his division?? and he is a career backup! they draft khalil and he even starts over hims. and fitzpatrick led a team to undermediocrity?? i guess cause he went to harvard that means he can play football to our yale grad coach.

from what i've read, Hangartner played real well when Kalil went down this year. That Panthers O-line certainly opened a few holes for Deangelo Williams to run through, even when they played the Giants (Geoff started that game) who have a great D-line.

As for Fitzpatrick, hes considered a very good backup, which is what we are looking for, so whats the problem with that?

fitzpatrick can not be relied on considering trent hasnt finished a full season yet. your comfortable if fitzpatrick has to start 3 games in a row?? he only won 2 last year (barley) out of just about the WHOLE SEASON! and of cource hangartner played well in spot duty he is a good backup, as i said so was jason whittle. he is no better than duke preston at center nor does he have expirience getting beat on during one on one's for 3 straight games against pro bowl NT's our situation is different then other teams in need of centers, other teams do not play 3 teams that have pro bowl NT's 6 games a year! and 2 of the 3 NT's just went to the pro bowl, the other (ferguson from miami) has been to the pro bowl before and is known to be on of the most steady NT's over the past 6-8 years.
