My "official" Friday FA Update Thread (10am-5pm)

For today only, between 10am-5pm. Im going to have this thread here, providing updates that involve the Bills and potential transactions. I’m the research guy for some AP-affiliated outlets—meaning my only real job is to track down info by either phone or the internet and send it to the guy (next to the guy) who ultimately posts what you read everywhere else.

I’ll try to get some stuff on here before it gets anywhere else! (no promises though).

Make this a no-fight thread please! Want to try to keep all updates on this thread today.

I’ll start now:
10:05 AM- Linebacker Jamie Winborn is currently visiting.. Reports that he already visited yesterday were inaccurate.

I like Winborn a lot. I saw him play a bunch when he was in SF.

Ive always been a Winborn fan.

Hes a quality signing (if it happens).

He will, at the very least, give us quality depth

10:20AM: Im told Bills linebacker Matt Shelton coach is looking over tape of Indy FA LB Freddy Keiaho, and the team may bring him in for a visit this weekend.

Also, it was offensive line coach Sean Kugler that was most influential on Derrick Dockery getting released.

I dont understand the interest in Kevin Jones.

First off, this is NOT the same as any other position. We dont have any issues with depth. I like adding a 3rd guy but its not needed

Secondly, Jones was so damn good for the Lions who absolutely STINK that they went and got Rudi?

What the hell does that say about Jones?

Yes, I have an update on TJ.
I heard the Bills front office find it laughable that he is openly campaigning himself for Philadelphia. I guess he even text’d a Philly radio station this morning saying he’d love to play there.

People who are still thinking TJ lands in Buffalo can honestly forget about it. I”ll put my already smeared Jr. Journalist reputation on the line that TJ will not be a Buffalo Bill.
