All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Does anyone else have the "Who the F cares?" mentality today?
Re: Does anyone else have the "Who the F cares?" mentality today?
Yeah, we seem to be targeting marginal starters and depth guys. Not the kind of players to get the adrenalin flowing.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
Re: Does anyone else have the "Who the F cares?" mentality today?
I think the big difference for me is simply the fact that I fully expect us to be worse next year than we were this year. This is the first time in my lifetime that I can say that.

I think it's 9 consecutive years of mediocrity, the retention of a chronic 7-9 HC, a GM who's a really good marketing guy, a tough schedule, and the realization that the other teams in our division are getting better, faster, than we are.
Other than that, it's really good news.

I'm pretty upset. I kept saying we HAD to be aggressive or else we would do worse next season and we haven't went for someone of much value. I am however intrigued by the Geoff thing. He might be our future center but I wouldn't break the bank on him.

I feel the same way Pride. Hard to get excited about a franchise that has no leadership and an owner who refuses to spend any money tp upgrade the talent.

100% i do
when we bring in 3 backups and one of them coming off a career threating injury on day 1
and tiny coles who will get overpaid
cheap cheap cheap moves and then the media will brainwash us saying our talent evaluaters no more then the rest of the NFL

Re: Does anyone else have the "Who the F cares?" mentality today?
I will do what I do every FA period. Hope we bring some good players in and that we are a better team for it.
What the hell do I know? As soon as someone is signed there will be a dozen different people saying a dozen different things.
"he's just here for depth"
"he's another backup"
"Ralph is cheap"
"he's a great signing"
"he cost too much"
"we overpaid for him"
"great value pickup"
"another backup that won't amount to anything"
I'm more depressed reading peoples posts than I am about what the Bills will do. At least I don't expect them to pick up a Bob Corkum and that's it (for you Sabres fans).
