We're in the middle of something big. I'm going to wakeup tonight and find out that we signed Coles, Simmons, Hangartner and then trade a 2nd and 5th round pick for Owen Daniels.

good stuff but probably more than a 2nd and a 5th more like 2 2nds (one this year and one next) or the 11th pick over all maybe even a 2nd this year and a 3rd next something like that for daniels. he has alittle more value than winslow because he 2 has been a pro bowler once this season and a first alternate for the pro bowl last year, also he is only 25 and is injury free his whole career.

That's fine with me. I would give up 2 2nds.

that would be a fair trade for sure, you figure that gonzo almost went to us for a 3rd last year and daniels is a pro bowler injury free and only 3 years in the league, actually that would be a great deal for us :)

Why? He had two total TD's last season (as the #2 target) 3 the previous. He has decent size, but is not a game changer at TE. He catches the ball well and is an adequate to average blocker. I would not move any pick over a 3rd for him. I like the TE prospects coming out better this year than Daniels.

i will say this, our rookie TE from last year derick fine sure has alot of promise, and the TE from South Carolina is an athletic freak something like a 41inch vert! but i would love to pair fine and daniels up. that would be nice. unfortunatley the blocking TE i wanted in free agency has been gobbled up by New Orleans.... Dan campbell, he is one of the best blocking TE's in the league and he isnt paid much.
