When I initially clicked on it and read it, it stated 225!!! Whew...that scared me...I knew it had to be a mistake!

I'm going to sound like a broken record here, but watch some video of the Carolina running game, with him at center. The guy can do it all. He knock DT's off the line, he can pull to either side, and the guy is solid muscle.

Educate yourself about the player, before you criticize, otherwise you sound like a fool.

I don't hate the signing, I don't love the signing. He's a backup who the Bills got on the cheap. I want to see him prove it that he can start every week...especially since he was a reserve in Carolina.

I agree, but imo he is a starter. I listen to talk radio all day down here and i hear a lot of Panthers talk. No one wanted to see him leave. Rotoworld even commented that the Panthers knew he would be a starter somewhere else. Panthers already have a solid line

We will see...only time will tell. I'll have a better opinion of him after I see him play a couple of games.

i mean it was not like there a lot of options to get a starting center.. so i think the bills did the right thing here and got him in fast and signed him. i also think that there is a still a very strong chance that we draft a good center too, as we still only have him on the roster. and if he turns out to be very good, then we can move hartgartner to guard.

It sounds like a pretty smart signing. Hangartner is in the prime of his career, has good size, is very smart, doesn't have a lot of football wear and tear on his body yet has started enough games to get a good read on his ability, and he doesn't break the bank.
