All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Just for fun...would you trade Edwards for Cutler?
This obviously would never happen, but who on here would trade Edwards for Cutler in a deal with the Broncos? I, for one, would take Cutler over Edwards in a heartbeat. Now I know that Cutler has warts on him and he needs to grow up, but his talent is unquestionable.

From what i've heard (i don't have personal knowledge... just second hand...) Cutler is a punk, who's o-line, coaches and surrounding players can't stand.
I know Rivers has issues with the fans, but his teamates like him. the reason i've heard that denver is quietly shopping him, is no one in the locker room likes him.
think jeff george when you think jay cutler. George was a very productive ass too, and no one really liked him on any team he played on.
There is a knock on Jay Cutler as well... it's that he's not particularly focused. That he's desperately streaky. remember his 2 games against us? One minute he was unstoppable the next he looked like he wanted to hit the showers and get home to watch his highlights on sports center. Now, i've not seen him enough to make that judgment. Personally i think he's an extraordinary talent when he's on, sorta a rich man's JP Losman.
I'm just not sure he's the type of guy you can win with.
a small note. Jay Cutler's career record as a starter is 17-19, and has not had a winning season under center in the NFL.

i had cutler as my fantasy qb last year, and i watched every game.
he had no rb's, they were dropping like flies.
when they came out early in the year, they mixed it up and he put up huge numbers. he had like 4000 yards.
given than no buffalo bills qb has broken 3000 besides drew bledsoe over the last 15 years, i'd say that even if he's "plateu'd" which isn't true, he's till be 33% more productive than any qb' we've had.
he was in shotgun throwing almost every play the second half of the year, and still was a pro bowl qb.

Does he have those numbers on this team, this scheme? I'm sure Royal and Parrish would have flourished with Cutler in the pocket.

P. Manning is better. Brady. Rivers. Warner. E. Manning. Hasselbeck. McNabb. Big Ben. Palmer. And that is off the top of my head.
He is extremely talented, but is immature and prone to mistakes are the worst time. I would still very likely trade Trent for him, but Cutler is not a top 4 QB.
