Nick Schuyler was found. Not good news for the other 3.

That's some awful and tragic news! Reminds me of that movie The Perfect Storm. I pray to God they find the others.

if the other 3 were not with the boat, there is little chance that they are alive.

A 21 foot boat is considered small for Lake Erie, let alone the Atlantic Ocean or Gulf of Mexico. It is terrible that this happened and is likely a freak occurrence, but people need to smarten up. Your boat needs to be at least 30 feet if you're going out on the ocean. I'm also curious to hear how much boating experience these guys had. On Lake Erie alone, I am amazed at how ignorant and inexperienced people are (Jet Skiiers in particular).

The water is 64 and even if they found them after that long, it wouldnt be good.

Its really sad.

5 days in 64 degree water?

not good... even if they did have life jackets they would have likely passed away due to hypothermia unless they were well dressed and huddling together. and even then, dehydration would be a problem.

I think in the next few day you'll hear that the three men tried to swim for shore... which is a common mistake in boating accidents. as the shore often looks much closer then it really is.

god bless their families and god rest their souls. :(

what a sad story.
