All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Speculation is rampant that the Sabres, Flyers and Coyotes are working out separate deals that would ultimately bring old friend Martin Biron back to Buffalo.
The Flyers are trying to get their hands on a defenseman and were supposedly working on a deal that would send Biron to the Coyotes for Derek Morris. The Coyotes would then send Biron to the Sabres in a package for Henrik Tallinder and/or Maxim Afinogenov.
I have speculated about this. Bringing Marty back sounds like a Darcy move. Dumping Max is good. I hate to see Tallinder go as he has been better as of late, but the Sabres are loaded with young guys and if they get a pick or prospect from Pheonix too that would be fine.

This was kind of a sidenote in his latest post. Supposedly the Sabres are interested in the LA Kings Ersberg, who was starting tonight against the Flyers.
The Sabres are interested in Kings goaltender Erik Ersberg as well. Ersberg is currently in net at the game I am watching...Also heard rumors that the Sabres may have interest in the goalie in the other net at this game...
If they pull this trade off, do they re-sign Marty and does he want to re-sign knowing that he definitely isn't the number one goalie?
at this stage of his career he might. He is getting older and never really proved himself on a contending Flyers team. If not big whup I am done with Tallinder and Max anyways.

I would agree he didn't prove himself, other than the playoffs last year. I only really know his play this year from fantasy numbers and they aren't spectacular.
If he were going to backup Miller again, I think it would give the coaching staff and possibly the team a ton of confidence in him because they know him.
Still, I think Lalime isn't the biggest issue right now so I guess I'm indifferent on this move.
Max and Tallinder can take a walk though. I'm all for getting rid of those guys.

I think it is more a testament to how injured Miller may be.
