    The search is called off for the missing players on the boat

    Very sad.

    As someone who spent 8 years in the Coast Guard, I can tell you first hand that its like looking for a needle in a haystack.

    You always stay with the boat if you can. And always keep your jacket on. But even then exhaustion and/or hypothermia can take their toll.

    My heart goes out to there families.

    I hope this thread can sit on the main board for a while... we are all fans of the NFL and its players.

    . This is so sad. ESPN interviewed Coopers wife yesterday. It was friggen heatbreaking.

                  Yeah, pretty bad. Calling off the search = never a good sign.

                  I'm sort of confused though and was going to ask what yordad did. Did the survivor just not notice what happened to the other 3? Thankfully I've never been in such a situation, and I can't imagine how traumatic it is, but if he saw them and then he didn't suddenly you would think........

                  ....i dunno where I'm going with this. It's just a crappy situation that's all.
