Eesh, I hope this isnt true... Pat?
Bill’s View On Cutler
Teams that are looking for QB should jump on this. He would be perfect for a several teams, Minnesota, Tampa, Detriot, and San Fran would be possible destanations. Clevland is apparetly looking l trying to work a deal that would include Quinn and Shaun Rodgers, the deal would be a good deal for both teams but I don’t think Denver would be getting enough. One team that nobody is talking about is the Jets, after what they’ve done in Free Agency it would seem almost wasteful if they didn’t have a QB. The Jets can offer Kellen Clemons and the 17th pick in the draft, that would make them a superbowl contending team. Buffalo could make a similar offer and perhaps a better one, offering Trent Edwards and the 11th pick, Denver would just have to choose what deal they liked better. I believe both of these teams are quietly observing the Cutler situation and may make an offer in the next few days. The Jets would have there best QB since Namath and the Bills there best since Kelly. I personally think Edwards can become a great QB, but his arm strengh is not his strong point, Cutler can throw the ball threw the harsh Buffalo winds, same as in New York. The Jets may need him more, they do need to sell PSL’s. I think those two teams and the Browns have more to offer anybody else. Look for something to happen in the next few weeks leading up to the draft.
