    He is a good vet.
    Runs this system.

    No flaming...that's who I would have targeted instead of Fitz. The Bills will never do it.

        Why not all three?

        You usually have a seasoned vet, a jorneyman and a rookie or young guy.

            ...would've been the best fit for us IMO. Even if it was just a 1 yr deal, who cares? It's not like we have a legitimate long term solution at QB anyways.

                im confused why we didnt go for him instead of fitz to begin with. would have been nice to have a vet and capable starter to help Trent

                  did garcia do well on a bad browns team? nope. i don't see him succeeding and i see him wanting to be a starter and he's too old at this point. I'm less than thrilled with fitzpatrick, but i don't think garcia was a good idea based on the fact that he didnt succeed on bad teams. He was good on good teams. I think that's the QB that Trent can and will be.

                    why bring on a QB controversy? We need to know if Edwards is the long term answer. Garcia isn't. It would be like asking why we didn't bring in Kurt Warner.

                      No problem with his talent or ability.

                      I believe that Garcia would only come here if he was told he had a shot to be the starter. Also, He has carped about being benched or not having access to a starting opportunity in the past.

                      I don't think he is a fit as it seems obvious the Bills are not interested in a challenger to Edwards.
