thomas isnt being brought in to start. he is a special teams guy. but we need that too after watching bowen, buggs, lehman all get injured during the season.

June, Peterson, Thomas...whats the difference?

Peterson could play MLB for a couple years and shift Poz outside.

June is tiny and I don't see the attraction at all.

june is the best of the 3, as long as you dont put him on the strong side.

the main attraction, ha, is probably that he is very comfortable in the cover 2, specifically the Tampa 2 since he was there for a couple years. He was a much bigger playmaker in Indy, but as is said so often (pretty much with every linebacker we bring in or even look at), hes better than ellison.

but ya id rather have peterson.

Pat Thomas would be excellent depth, unfortunatly we tendered Ellison who is a bum
THomas has size and speed and also some starting experiance
I think he would be a great depth signing for us
