All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

i think your going to get your way besides greer. if they did in fact sign coles, then they are giving greers money to florence, june, a LG and probably one more free agent as well as extending peters. june is going to be a bill i am very confident in that. he is a big 10 guy with high character and he is a stud in the type of D we run. he is totally a jauron type of player, hard working over achiever (he was a safety at michagan and because a LB at Indy hes a hard worker) and if the bucs didnt get a new D coordinator he would still be a buc for sure.
The Buffalo Bills agreed to terms with veteran free agent cornerback Drayton Florence late Tuesday night. Terms of the deal were not immediately available. The 28-year-old Florence will provide the secondary with some depth as he becomes the fifth cornerback on the team’s roster. Buffalo will head into the 2009 season with Terrence McGee and 2008 first-round pick (11th overall) Leodis McKelvin as the starters, with Florence in the mix to occupy the nickel role.
The move likely means Buffalo will not attempt to re-sign its own free agent cornerback, Jabari Greer.
The only problem with that scenario is drafting a DE is a sign of rebuilding. Defensive linemen rarely excel in their first year, and that's probably our most pressing need.
i thought the thread was gonna be about a naked Megan Fox.
But ya, Greer isnt worth the money he is gonna be given by some club. McGee is just as good as Greer, and with Odis and Youboty and Corner and now Florence, we are looking good at CB.

Top DL can produce quickly and we've seen that recently. Mario Williams, Amobi Okoye, Chris Long, Julius Peppers, Gaines Adams, Kevin Williams, Dwight Freeney, Justin Smith. All top 15 picks, all big time contributors early on and all in the last 8 years.
Now what do they all have in common for the most part? Good size, and speed combos. Only one of these guys is below 260 (Adams), in fact most of the players who struggled early on are in that 250-260 range. So a DE can succeed early on if you find the right one.
COMING SOON...

.
Whos gonna teach them to be productive? Jauron? They can't even make their handpicked starters produce. This coaching staff has the philosophy of easing in rookies into the game in regular season unless we get the injury bug like in 07.
