Yeah, I forgot about Voros and the other guy. I thought Morris made like 6 mil. a season too.

Even if they waive players, I believe they're still on the hook for the contracts unless somebody picks them up.

By the way, for all of those who keep saying that you can't pick up big contracts in trades, this proves that there are ways to get it done. You just have to want to make a deal work and not think everybody on your team is the next coming of a hall of famer.

No, if you waive a player, you still have to pay his contract, but you don't have to have that contract on your cap. He just plays out his contract in the minors. I believe.

That is correct
It also depends on the the type of waivers too.
