I dont think we're going to sign a DE in free agency. that has #11 pick written all over it.

the only guys i would even want are berry (who i thought was signed by someone already), holliday, taylor (no way he comes her anyways, he wants a legit shot at a ring), evans maybe and perhaps victor adeyanju.

so a reasonable list is:

holliday, evans, adeyanju.

yea but wat if crabtree is still available, they might get him, so i say sign a de now for insurance only.

isnt olshansky more of a 3-4 end? he's 300 frikkin pounds. maybe bring him to rotate, but hes not a pure pass rusher.

In buffalo's system, I'd be tempted to play Olshansky as a 3 technique DT.

Canty would have been a good fit in that same spot - interior pass rusher and could have played end on obvious rush downs.

Since there aren't alot of DEs reasonably available (i.e., Peppers is unfortunately not a reasonable option for the Bills) and the right guy might not be available at 11, the Bills need to get creative to rush the passer. Improving the rush from the interior of the line and improving the run defense would have been one creative option.

Canty signed with the NYG

At this point, I'd be willing to give anyone a shot. I honestly don't know how they could generate less of a pass rush than our current guys do.

I know. I was just using him as an example of a type of guy that would have helped - despite not being a pure pass rusher (which is an obvious need as well).

Id be very interested in bringing him for that role.
