Old and injury-prone. He is a pretty good corner when healthy (which is rarely).

The Springs' signing is nothing for us to be jealous about.

Oh look, New England is widening that gap between us and them with their acquisitions.

We're making the gap even larger by doing nothing.

Two good moves by the Pats today.

No one wants to come here. Those free agents going to the Pats are front runners because they think going there is a guaranteed appearance in the Super Bowl. Ask Junior Seau about that...

Well, Junior Seau did get an appearance in the Super Bowl after signing with NE. The team lost the game, though.

Fixed it for ya

Springs is garbage. Trying to hold on to his glory days he is fading fast to the point where he is going to a dimeback soon. Plus he is never healthy.

True. He did get there only to be a part of the biggest choke job in history. I'll bet that one hurt worse than when he played for San Diego and San Francisco embarrassed them in the Super Bowl.

Actually, he put it in perspective:

Even last night, he could appreciate what had transpired for him and his teammates over the past several months.

“It was a great journey,” he said. “It really was. The bond we have will always be here. We just came up short.”

I know you want to think that Super Bowl loss was devastating, but it was an amazing season. I think the players take pride in being part of it. He certainly doesn't regret coming back to play.
