The bills just wasted a 3rd on Ellis and now they'll use a 2nd on a DE? they just used a 2nd on Hardy, now they'll use a 3rd on a wr?

      Yes and Yes.

Schobel isnt young and two DE's play on most downs and I dont see Ellis ever as anything more than a pass rush specialist. Hardy is going to be out a good chunk of next season, Reed is aging and we need a guy with good size and speed to develop. Collie gives you that and its a 4th on Collie not a 3rd. Our 3rd Round pick is Shawn Nelson TE.

        Re: DraftBoy's Mid-FA Mock

        Very interesting, thanks for posting!

        Couple questions/comments:

        1) Who is going to play NT for Green Bay? To my knowledge, they haven't signed anyone. They lost Cole, and don't grab an NT (if I remember correctly, Taylor would be a DE in the 3-4) in the first four rounds. Just wondering what your thoughts are on that.

        2) Honestly, I'd rather have Mike Thomas than Collie. Thomas could be a very good slot receiver for years to come. I'm seeing Parrish and possibly Reed on their way out of Buffalo, so Thomas would be a good replacement.

Not much other than that...too lazy to go through it in-depth to be honest.

Fair enough but I don't think they'll use a 3rd on a TE either after grabbing Fine who they are high on.

I definitely think they grab a TE early in this draft and I'll be happy with Nelson. If the draft played out like this, I'd be very happy.

                DB,
I like it. Collie is a great hands catcher that can get himself open. Raji would assist in not only helping the DT depth, but preparing for life after Stroud (who will be wanting a new contract ASAP). Ayers is a solid DE that can handle the run side of the field. Nelson can block and get downfield.

I also like a Casey instead of Nelson, if not there.

I would be ecstatic if the first three rounds went down like that. Not sure about a receiver in the fourth though.

It's about time you came around to the Lions not drafting a QB #1 overall... I have been saying they won't take a QB in that position for a while...

I like all our picks except the 4th rd...are you assuming we will get Waters? If not, I would have made a pick there. Can Shipley play Guard also? It'd be a bonus to pick up a Center that could also play Guard...if not Tyronne Green would be my logical choice...

PS I find it interesting that you place Eugene Monroe at the top OT...so do I, but I haven't seen many analysts that agree with that. Most have Andre Smith. But I have the Lions taking a QB...so...let's get ready to RUMBLE...when are we starting our massive 7th rd mock?

that mock for the Bills would be the cats ass in rounds 1 and 2, and the cats ass is a good thing. (be thankful I couldn't find a .gif or .jpg)

I don't know much about the 3rd and 4th rd guys....

I only looked at the first round (for now)

My first thought.. Is that if Raji is there its a no brainer. But I dont think he'll be there.

And from everything I've heard, Malcom Jenkins is losing a lot of ground, real quick. People are even projecting him as a safety in the NFL now.

OK, and I just looked at the second round.
And I dont know nowhere as much as you about the draft.
But I will put some MONEY on it that Ayers is not on the board at #42.

In fact, I wouldnt be shocked if he's gone off the board at #11. how about that?

                              I would ask you if these stats;

9 sacks, 113 tackles, 31.5 TFL, and 10 Qb Hurries (those are career numbers)

Yell out top 10 pick to you. Whoever told you that is either wrong, or spoke to somebody who is high on Ayers workout and not his actual production. Ayers is not a 1st Round prospect imo. He didnt not play like it in 4 years at Tennessee. After 17 or so I could see him being picked but not much higher at this point. It would be a brutal reach based on nothing basically.
