View Full Version : Trapezeus waiting for another offer

trapezeus

Trapezeus has been contacted by the Bills to be a one stop fix at all open spots. While at 5'8 and 150lbs, he is grossly undersized for every position including kicker. The bills are left with very few options as plans A-Z backfired on them since the beginning of Free Agency.

Trapezeus was excited to visit and spend 2 and half weeks visiting the facilities and work on contracts. But eventually he left without contract. Rumors have it that friends have contacted Trap for their madden leagues. It is unclear whether those offers are higher or not, but rumor has it that Trapezeus likes the coaching styles of his buddies as opposed to Jauron.

At this stage it looks like Trapezeus is just another long line of free agents looking to leverage a bills offer into a higher paying contract with thhe Madden league.

The Bills have scheduled a press conference for 4pm but most likely will only confirm that Jauron is the coach for the 2009 season.

Thats funny, they had me in for a visit, but I chose the Lions... they offered me a full beer.

Don't sell yourself short. 5'8" 150 will get you a DE slot on this team

I'm about 5'10" 200. I think that makes me DT or LT.

i'm unfortunately not a high motor guy, Op. i'm just undersized. maybe that's the different direction they are aiming for. undersized and unmotivated.

I'm a great locker room guy, and my freestylin' skills are pretty good. That should keep me on the team for at least 2-3 years.

That's all that matters. Don't worry about getting your feet in bounds when and if they throw it to you.

Just don't run anyone over with your car or drive around with a loaded weapon. Otherwise, we might have to bring your grandfather in as a FA.

you are all "Dick type" guys for sure

I am 5'10" 210 so punter/kicker for me I want the one bar facemask

if i was the owner, u_b, you'd have yourself a contract for the one bar facemask

Dick type is vital for a spot on this roster. Size isn't a big issue, as we've seen before.

They offered me a deal to be the GM, I am subsequently using it as leverage and shopping their offer to other teams.

At 6'2" and 215lbs, and as a veteran of NFL Europe (hell, nobody watched it, I could be for all the Bills know) I was offered the position of Tight End, but the contract offer was withdrawn when they found out I could actually hold on to the ball after contact.

At least i'm not a wide receiver.;)

That would've been funnier if you put "Chicago" :snicker:

I'm 5'11" 175 lb and slow. Add the fact that I'm 16 years older than Joey Galloway and I'm the perfect candidate for the Bills' #2 receiver.

I'm sorry Mr. Bomber. I've heard of you before, all the accolades you've gotten on this board. No one who has any type of name is a bad fit for this team.

The Bills actually made me an offer, but I opted to go with the Redskins. An old player with a name is an even better fit for them.

Trap, it sounds like you're perfect for the Bills. You compensate for your small size with lack of speed and questionable athleticism. We have a whole locker room like that.

I'm 6' 220lbs, so I'd be too big to be one of our linebackers

I'm 5'8", 140 lbs, and pretty quick. I've never played football before, so I can't run very good routes, but who cares? As long as I can return punts, I should be golden for a contract plus an extension that makes me one of the highest paid WR's on the team, right?

we're going to need an age check on you. if you aren't close to 40, chances we don't likeyou. unless you can return a punt 15 yards and occassionally break one of the first 4 punts of the season for a touchdown. Then allow me to show you the door to a $3mm contract.

Anyone curious what kind of poker players the bills front office staff are?

I'll be 66 the end of March, have failing eyes and a hiatel hernia that has me permenantly bent 45 degrees to a perfect snappng position.

The Bills brought me in for a possible fill in at Long Snapper....but let me leave without an offer when they found out that I had good enough footwork to dance in a Fatboy Slim video.

Well, I'm only 23, soon to be 24, so I guess I don't qualify. I've got a lot of potential and room to learn though. I've got a fairly high intelligence (I'm an engineering grad student), so I'd fit in well with Jauron. He and I could be bench buddies, maybe he'd let me call a couple plays!

Oh, and Fitzpatrick and I would hook up several times in the preseason, but then both of us would suck the rest of the regular season.

if you call passing plays in situations where we should just be running the clock, psu, then you are indeed worthy of calling in a few plays during the season.

I'd bet if I tried, I could screw up any lead we've ever had...

so you are a work in progress. Jauron does it without thinking. That's why he's the coach and you're in training.

And at 6'4" 250, I was traded by the Bills for a new bag of footballs to the Saints. They said I was too dominating on the line.

He always knows how to humble me. You're right, I am definitely still in training. Until it comes by force of habit, I won't be as great of a DJ.

i can't believe that the bills have turned this entire board into a bunch of sarcastic a$$es. The only way to enjoy the bills at this point is to just mock them mercilessly.

I wonder if we can get Celino and Barnes to represent us in a class action lawsuit to keep the bills in buffalo. But even celino and barnes hitched their wagon to Kelsay. We'll need better lawyers.

i'm 6'4 215, and have bad knees... im sure i could fill in @ saftey or TE, and i'm just old enough (29) that i might fit in their scheme.. Edwards txt me and said he would love to have me on the team, but DJ and Co said i would make too much sense and sent me packing

I'm 6'4, 295 lbs and I can't block worth ****. I have horrible footwork and I am like one of those revolving doors and will let the defensive tackle in to get the RB on the handoff. Dick told me that I'd be a perfect fit at LG, but I need to gain more weight....

Dick told me that I will sit the bench on their team but they are going to franchise tag me so they can get a pick when they trade me....

Im a franchise player from the bench!
