Gaustad's a wrecking ball.

They're gunning for Kaleta and so far he's not responding well.

Veteran play by Sekera on the goal. I'm convinced that he's the next Campbell.

Connolly/Hecht/Pomminville? Is that a line or were they in the middle of the change? If it's a line, it sucks. Those two idiots will just screw up everything Connolly creates.

No, that isn't a line. Connolly is playing between Vanek and Stafford.

no one has ever doubted Connolly's talent. The problem is that he's not usually available to use it.

And I agree- so far Moore looks good.

Let's just hope he's not like that guy we got last year at the deadline: two goals in his first game then 0 goals for the rest of the season. He was so irrelevant that I forgot his name.

That was as clean a hit as they come. It is a shame but the NHL won't be happy until all physical play is gone.

Well that would be how Lindy rolls. Overplays his goalies, though I don't know if Lalime is tired, he SHOULD play his backup every 5 or 6 games and almost always play him on one of back to back games.

I agree, but this might be one of the almost always exceptions. Coming into tonight Lalime was on a 96% save clip. And it got better.

Can you really sit him?

If nothing else, I hope that this year and Lalime's play gives Lindy the confidence to play him more next year.

No, I guess I wouldn't blame him, but if we have to ride Lalime, I don't want to wear him out either. But if he was going to give Tellquist the game, it would have been this one IMO.

Now they have to figure out a way to beat Ottawa!

Technically it wasn't. The puck was NEAR the guy but because he saw Kaleta coming he didn't play the puck. I don't even think he touched it so they called Kaleta for inference which was still a bull**** call. If Kaleta wasn't there, the pussy would have played the puck. It was another Reputation penalty on Kaleta.

I don't understand what Gretzky was so pissed about on the Jovo penalty. The Coyotes were getting the benefit of the doubt all game on penalties.

Connolly, 4 pts? whack, whack, whack...

You're exactly right! If that hit was by anyone other then Kaleta there would have been no call. This was not a dirty hit!!!

and the Coyotes are a bunch of crybabies...

I can't believe how many people leave their feet just before they throw a body check...It needs to be called more often.

I hope Lindy learns a lesson from this and starts giving the backup goalie more play next year, to get them into more of a rhythm.

I think Gretzky was upset with the Jovo tripping call with about 3 minutes left in the game but I not 100 percent sure on that.

The Coyotes were upset that the Sabres used 4 forwards on the last PP when they were up 5-1. Sabres were trying to get Connolly the hat trick and the Coyotes didn't appreciate it. **** the Coyotes.
