I've never liked TO, and I've always said I wouldn't want him on my team. He's a cancer, his attitude stinks, etc. That said, here's why this is a good move.
1. It's a one year deal - he'll be playing for another contract and needs a big year, and we won't have to worry about what to do with him after the season.
2. He has a history of being very productive and not nearly as much a cancer in his first year. In Philly and Dallas he was a model citizen in year one (or at least not a huge headache).
3. He's still a top 5 WR in the NFL
4. He's the first real playmaker this team has had in a decade
and 5 - This team has not made the playoffs for 10 years. It hasn't even had winning records. It's on the verge of becoming irrelevant. Maybe I see it more being 3000 miles away, but the Bills aren't even a laughing stock anymore to most of america. They're just sort of there. I used to get trash talk from people out here or at least get made fun of, and now no one even cares. What does this mean? That I'm willing to try anything to win again. Even signing TO.
Here's to a winning season - at least I know the front office is trying.
