Owens will make a deal with Hardy for the #. That is how it always seems to work.

i dont even think it will be an option for hardy. owens will get that number weather hardy wants to give it up or the franchise takes it from him cause they want that 81 with owens name on it for jersey sales :)

Not even an issue...I do think Owens will have to pay Hardy for it, but Owens has had 81 his entire career...but you never know with this guy...he could go with 18!

Id say Hardy. Owens is not chad, he doesnt worry about his number. Like Moss and Rice, he will choose 18.
