Anyway, I don't think people say a decade to be spiteful. It's just when a team is so bad for so many years the years have a way of running together. You can't blame people for adding to the pile, all be it slightly.

R U Serious? I said "10" earlier, but not for drama. It was the 1999 season, but it was the 2000 playoffs. Sorry for the gross miscalculation. It is a huge, significant difference and I apologize for my negligence. Wow. Is there any drama in gross nitpicking? Just curious. I did refer to a 10 year old as "9" once and they were upset about it. I feel so dumb.

I'm sorry as far as I'm concerend we haven't had a good team since the Kelly and Co. days...

and it has felt like decades since we have had a playoff team. I see no reason to call out anyone who has said it was 10 years.

The Music City Mirage was January 8, 2000.

The NFL hasn't released their schedule this year, but the 2nd weekend in January (usually the first day for Wild Card games) is January 9, 2010.

So, even if the Bills make the playoffs this year, it will be 10 years between playoff games. It's not an exaggeration- it's the truth.

We last made the playoffs in the 1999 season (The playoff game was in January, 2000). We have missed the playoffs from the 2000 through the 2008 season, which is 9 straight seasons. The 2009 season is coming up.

But there are no playoff games between now and January. So even if we make the playoffs this season, it will be 10 years between playoff games. If someone says 10 SEASONS, then they are incorrect because the 10th season hasn't happened yet. If someone says 10 YEARS, they are correct because there will be a minimum of 10 years between playoff games (the last 10 months of those 10 years hasn't happened yet- but again, there are no playoff games in that span so it is inevitable).
