They are showing a TO jersey with a 1 on it.

No way Hardy gets to keep his number???

Anybody have any inside info on this? I'll even take quotes from "anonymous sources" if you have them!

I think it's just an example because they don't know what number he'll be wearing yet. I wouldn't be surprised if he's wearing 11 on opening day.

Nope. They usually just put up #1 on the FAs or draft picks until the player selects their number. My guess is that he's talking to Hardy and going to buy the number from him. But he might choose something else. Ya never know....

He started in SF as #19, I think.

I'm pretty sure I heard him say he's going to give 181% in the interview. No way Hardy trots out this year with 81 on his jersey.

It would be just like TO to want to wear #1. But I don't think the NFL would let him

I'm pretty a WR can't wear #1 or there would be more WR in this league wearing it...

Receivers can only wear 10-19 and 80-89.

There are league rules setting aside certain jumbers for each position, and #1 is not available to WRs.

No way TO has to "buy" his number from Hardy. He just has to walk into the locker room and say, "gimme my numba".

James Hardy would pull a gun on his ass.

NO WAY Owens isn't wearing #81. Hardy blows and has no say. Isn't there already a thread or two on this?
