Does this instantly make the Bills have one of the top 5 WRs corps in the NFL?

Josh Reed shouldn't have been our #2 .. but he looks like a pretty solid #3.. Roscoe Parrish should be able to get open more and make some plays.. I am not holding my breath but maybe without the pressure of having to walk in as a rookie and save the passing game James Hardy can develop at a more appropriate pace..

Obviously we have to see the results on the field.. but for once in a really long time I am going to be somewhat optimistic about our offence.. Now we just to get some one to block up the middle..

It all depends on Trent. If Lee and Owens were with Manning or Brady, they'd definitely be top 2.

I'd take Evans, Owens, Reed over 25 other team's top 3 WRs any day. Hardy, Johnson, and even Parrish are unknown commodities though.

It's all on Edwards I think. The talent at WR is proven. If by miracle Hardy really will be recovered from his injury the sky is the limit. On offense just get a LG and a TE and we have weapons on offense.

Evans and Owens on the outside with Reed in the slot and Johnson or Roscoe as the 4th is ab amzing plethora of weapons to throw to. Problem will be pass protection and Edwards.

Evans and Owens on the outside with a sure handed possession reciever and a 6-6 2nd year WR, arguably the fastest WR in the NFL, and a 7th round steal along with a TE who did pretty good for a rookie and probably a 1st-2nd round TE this year. Yeah, maybe top 3.

Agreed.

We saw what a Top 5 WR core could do without a QB in Cincinnati last year.

Does anyone think the Owens signing puts less emphasis on drafting a TE early?

I say LG, DE, OLB ALL come before TE now.

I agree.

But we can fill the OLB, LG need in FA and then TE gets bumped up the priority list.

I am just glad that Josh Reed can go back to the slot where he is most effective.

Gotta remember he is on a 1 yr deal though. TE has to be a high priority still.
