This is just a quick post to check in with everyone and let you know how much I appreciate all the great things you've thrown my way in the way of "Thanks," pats on the Internet back, and just nice words in general.
As you can imagine, the last day and a half has been pretty crazy for me, which is why I haven't been able to respond with hitting the "Thanks" button in those threads, as I certainly will some time soon.
After I broke the story, I've had a lot of national and local Buffalo media calling and texting me and I've tried to talk to as many of them as I can to get what I know of the story out there.
I did a 20-minute interview with Vic Carrucci on SIRIUS NFL Radio yesterday and spent about 20 minutes on WGR today with Andrew Fillipponi. That was just a touch of how hectic and crazy my last two days has been.
I just got throug producing a Special Edition, brand new Buffalo Stampede podcast with some more of my thoughts and info on the signing, as well as a big interview with Randy Galloway of ESPN Radio 103.3 in Dallas-Ft. Worth. He's one of the most popular talk radio hosts in North America and has covered T.O. in Dallas for the last three years. We talk a lot about what to expect from T.O. in Buffalo. Randy has some interesting takes. The podcast will be on my site and linked here soon.
Finally, I also wanted to say part of the reason I didn't keep up with things here Saturday was because TODAY IS MY 6TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AND MY WIFE AND I WERE OUT CELEBRATING LAST NIGHT!
I'm sure you can all understand.
