Source: Bills, Peterson failed to agree on a contract

6:00PM: I've learned that the Bills had offered LB Mike Peterson a one-year contract for an undetermined amount of money; and the offer was rejected.

I believe Peterson is scheduled to meet with Atlanta and Detroit soon.

Looks like it's on to Keiaho or June among the LB's we've had in for visits. Personally I hope Winborn isn't even considered.

      Thanks for the info Pat!

So are we gonna sign June or Kiaho? Or try to re-sign Crowell?

We would have made Peterson the WILL anyway, he is fast enough to play outside.

I'd really like it to be June. He's been to the Pro Bowl, and he's been out of position in Tampa. That can be remedied here. He could be a steal.

Crowell seems to be a lost cause for us now, it will be either June or Freddy. If neither of them sign, then I am clueless on what we are going to do.

                Actually I do...

Re: Source: Bills, Peterson failed to agree on a contract

it really depends. i mean june is better than keiaho but keiaho will deffnately come cheaper. your talking about a guy that at the postion we are asking him to play june has had 4 seasons well over 100 tackles and been to the pro bowl at the position, then there is keiaho who some see as a up and coming LB at 26 years old and has already had one decent season with 105 tackles. if june wants too much money it will be keiaho but i would think they would try to get june in here since we already have owens locked up for the year i would think you would want as much talent as possible to put on the team but if finances now are the concern still haveing to sign a guard and all can see keiaho coming in.

Bills fans, You might want to watch Keiaho before you say you want him. He is not very good.

Goin on something Pat said earlier, I think we are drafting Robert Ayers. Just now on Path to the Draft, Mayock said teams are starting to wonder if they can trade up to get him and he shoudl be a top 15 pick.

I wish they would just re-sign Crowell. He knows our system/coaches/players better then anyone we can bring in.

Of the rest of the FA's I like Cato June.
