    Is T.O. HOF worthy??

    Positive: TO has the numbers.

Negative: He destroys teams, selfish, much of the media hates him - they vote.

Now it is a longshot that he stays with the Bills for more then a season. One season probably wouldn't be enough. But if he did play multiple years in Buffalo, and was eventually selected to the HOF, would he decide to go in as a Bill?

Would his ego allow him to go in as a Cowboy? Glamorous - yes, but they did cut him. If he had a good season(s) in Buffalo and left on good terms how would Bills fans react?

    What do you think?

Let's not get ahead of ourselves with SB talk. I'll take playoffs. Wildcard. Sometime in the next 2 years.

But if TO is a lock, what team would he go in with. Not the Eagles. Probably not Dallas. Do the 49ers sign him to a 1 day contract in a few years and let him retire a 49er.

Right now he's basically a HOF caliber player with no real team affiliation besides Buffalo. And that could be temporary.

I'm not getting ahead of myself. Just simply saying if he makes such an imapct here to take us to a place we havnt been in years, he'd be a lock

But would he go in the HOF as a Bill? Tough to say now. But interesting to consider. Obviously if he bombs in Buffalo he may still make the HOF but not as a Bill.

                  139 TD's

He'll go in as a 49er. He won't forget his beginnings with Steve Young & Jerry Rice.

He's a first ballot hall of famer, and anyone who thinks otherwise is a moron.

TO, if he retired tomorrow, has big time, HOF numbers. And his character issues pale in comparison to Michael Irvin's. In fact, Irvin's induction proves character issues don't matter at all.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

From what I understand, the NFL isn't like baseball in that they don't go in representing a specific team. All the teams an NFL HOFer played on gets some recognition for that player's achievements. However, the player can choose to retire with a team he feels most closely affiliated with in his career.

First ballot. Goes in as a 49er. Has Jerry Rice introduce him.

                            Just my guess.

He gets in 1st ballot and he won't go in as anything. The NFL does not have players go in as members of a team like the MLB. They go in as themselves.
