Current DB group to get better?

Now that we have some legitimate receivers, do you think our DB and secondary will get better during training camp covering TO and Evans all day? Or will they just be more content with lining 10 yards off the ball?

it might help some of the younger guys develop. The older guys are what they are.

Only on 2nd and 1 or 3rd and 7. If it's 3rd and 20, they'll be right up in the WR's face so the WR's can run past them and get open downfield. But don't worry- it's all part of the "system"

They play 10 yards off the ball because of the scheme. I happen to think we have a very talented group of DBs, and if they were utilised properly we'd see great results from them. Of course if a play is given long enough to develop eventually one or more receivers will get free no matter who the DBs are, which is why the only way we'll see a huge increase in production from the DBs is if we improve the pass rush.

If our pass rush doesn't improve they will be content to line up 10 yards off the ball for 16 games next season.

i also believe the bills DBs are more talented than we know. if we only had a pass rush. you can't cover NFL receivers all day. That's also what makes it so maddening that they keep tinkering with DB selections. just get some pass rush and your DB's would be fine

The scheme won't change just because of who we have at WR. The scheme is what has our DB's play 7 yards off the LOS.

More to do with necessity than with scheme.
