I think its extremely unlikely to be possible, but what if we swooped in and offered more right now?

seems to me that this is just a technicality. the rams and brown will get this in order for the season.

while unlikely, if the chance does exist... we should definately offer him some more $$, and perhaps the star power of TO would help persuede him

I agree. Maybe he'll decide to pay us a visit now that he sees there is a superstar on the roster. Tell him you'll up the offer he got from St. Louis

Trade Jason Peters for Orlando Pace! Peters' value has never been higher than it is now. We wouldn't even need to worry about throwing in more compensation like draft picks because Pace is a unrestricted player! (as per my older cousin's best friend.)

PULL THE TRIGGER BRANDON!

1. He went from playing in the AFC Championship game with the Ravens to signing with the Rams who have won 5 games in two years, Im guessing "star power" wont influence his choice of teams.

2. The rams are paying him 24 million over the first 2 years of his contract...for a center. I know Center is a need for us, but comon...hes a center. You really want to give a center 40 million dollars??? Over 20 million guaranteed. Thats Jason Peters money. The thought of paying it to a Center is crazy.

The thought of having our QB blown up every play is also crazy. Fix the line and we have a great year, even without a superstar tight end. Leave it the way it is and we'll be lucky to break .500

Sirius radio reported that NFL has agreed to finalize the signing......he's officially a Ram.

You can't discount the fact that having what could be a very good offense could sway ones mind. So yes "star power" may begin to be a factor with free agents signing here. Chances are the reason he signed with St Louis in the first place is because the had to offer a seriously overpriced contract in order to get him there.

In reality, I doubt he leaves St Louis, they will simply re-do the contract and fix the error. It's all hypothetical at this point.
