Who would u pick for your first round?

I'll pick Pettigrew and then get a good "DE" maybe in the 2nd rounder like Jarron Gilbert.

TonyB, Orakpo is like 20 + picks higher, IMO.

Orakpo, but I wouldn't be suprised or extremely dissapointed with an addition of Pettigrew. With the release of Royal and the lack of a TE visit to OBD, I think it is safe to say we are going to look for one in the draft.

Cook is growing on me though, and if Orakpo provides the biggest impact the quickest he is the one to pick.

Like i said though, I wouldnt be suprised by a Pettigrew pick. It just seems like we are building an offensive juggernaut. yes, I just said that.

Evans, Owens, Reed, Johnson, Hardy, Roscoe, Lynch, Jackson and a good tight end would make this offense REALLY scary to any defense. But first we need a LG and see if Trent can play.

I chose Orakpo though because I have seen the guy in person and he is just a one of a kind athlete. WOW. Ripped from head to toe with the speed to match. He would help alot with our pass rush problems.

Between those to - Orakpo. He is good value at #11. Pettigrew is a big time reach.

Raji would be my pick at 11. Then Orakpo, then Pettigrew.

WIN/Win either way

I'd take Orakpo, there are some good TE slated to be around in the 2nd round

Orakpo. There is no TE that deserves the #11 pick. Look at the TEs takin in the first round the last couple of years. What have they done. Not much. Pettigrew is nowhere near the last TEs taking in the first round the last couple of years. Our pass rush was probably thee weakest part of our game last year, and to not address it as our number 1 priority would be plain stupid.

Orakpo is a no-brainer if he's there.

If Orakpo is there, he is the pick. I do like Pettigrew, but there are just some positions your dont take high in the first round. G, C, S, TE. Last few years, TE and Saftey have crept up there into the top 15, with disapointing results.

No brainer: you never pass over the opportunity to take a potentially great pass rusher for a tight end.

I love Pettigrew and have questions about Orakpo's consistency of effort, but I would have to take my chances on Orakpo, if he is still on the board, especially in this draft which is deep at the TE position and not nearly as deep at DE.

I haven't seen a single mock in the past month or talked to one person who thinks Orakpo is there at #11.

Jarron Gilbert is not a pass rusher off the edge. Great athlete but he is 290 pounds and will probably get bigger. He's a very good DT candidate in our defense though. I can see him being high on the Bills draft board but not till the second round.

Orakpo without a single doubt

the only way I want pettigrew is with a trade down scenario.

Even if we pick up Cato June at OLB I would still rather the Bills draft the best availlable LB at #11 over Pettigrew.

I would be extremely elated if Orakpo was there at 12. Not looking likely.

If we take Pettigrew at 11 it will be a very questionable move. If you take a TE at #11, it better be close to a sure thing. Pettigrew is not.

We will never win consistently without a pass rush. It is our biggest weakness by far. TE is a luxury. A pass rush is a necessity.

Happens every year at draft time. Everybody clings to the big TE name that they want. We've seen since Vernon Davis like clockwork because the Bills refuse to go 1st or 2nd Round TE, people here ***** and moan about it and cling to their guy every year.

and how have all these 1st round TE's fared?

2008 - Dustin keller - could be a good one

2007 - Greg Olson - another decent pickup who can catch the ball

2006 - Vernon Davis - bust (so far) who has been a child, instead of the man-child many expected
- Mercedes lewis - nothing special so far

2005 - Heath miller - very good TE

2004 - Dallas Clark - very good TE

I am actually against getting a TE with #11, but based on these players it almost makes me think if we can get a TE somewhere in Round 1, NOT at #11, we would be doing a good thing. That being said, Pettigrew isnt the pass-catcher most of these players were. To me he is most like Mercedes Lewis, who is the worst of all these first rounders.

I don't see Pettigrew as even close to the same mold as those guys and Coffman reminds me of Miller with more athleticism but worse blocking and route running.

I think there is always a better chance of getting a TE in a later round to pan out than a DE.

A fair amount of 1st rounders (DE) in the sack leader column.

I know...there are quality TE's to grab in the 2nd or 3rd this year...no need to reach for an overrated guy at #11.
