Pats talk to veteran LB
The Patriots recently hosted free agent linebacker Don Davis in Foxboro and are considering signing the eighth-year veteran to a contract. Davis played most recently with St. Louis, where he started 15 games over the past two years. Davis had 34 tackles and an interception last season.
Davis, a strong special teams player, would fill out the depth chart at linebacker, a position where the Pats will need as many able bodies as possible because of their switch to the 3-4 alignment.
