Pat White if Roscoe is traded

Say Pat White drops to the 5th or 6th. If buffalo has already filled G, LB, DE, DT, and Saftey in FA/Draft would you take him. Hes a good QB, can do PR if we trade Roscoe and want McKelvin only to do KR, and can be a slot reciever after Reed leaves.

Dumb period. Roscoe is a situational player and so is Pat White.

All Roscoe can do is PR. Hes not a good WR. Pat White is a PR, KR, QB, WR and probably could play RB if he gets bigger.

Right now, McKelvin and Jackson are good returners, we have 3 WR's who are definitely better than Roscoe (Owens, Evans and Reed), and two who have the potential to be better (Steve Johnson and Hardy). So, having Parrish is a luxury that this team really can't afford.

Drafting Pat White would be the same situation with a different, less experienced player. It makes zero sense.

So yes, you are allowed to talk about the draft. But please, think things through before you post them. Not every idea is a good idea that's worthy of discussion.

Reed will be gone next year. Than next year we dont have a true speed slot reciever which we need. Pat White would add that and he would be a late round pick that is basically a BPA pick and he would add depth at QB and if McKelvin becomes the starter next year (2010) we need him to be the KR/PR.

How many times has Pat White played all of those positions? This thread is a waste.

White was primarily a QB, not a WR. If we trade Parrish and lose Reed next year, hopefully Hardy and Johnson can step up. If they can't, or if the FO want's a plan B, draft a RECEIVER, not a QB who occasionally played receiver. There's a difference.

                    draft pat white.

if you need a back up qb with great scrambling ability.

he hasnt played wr in 6 years.. that means he was a sophmore in highschool.

if you draft him to play wr.. your wasting a pick.

i cant believe i responded to this stupid ass thread.

dude this is the real world. you cant just make a a guy auto-magically be a POR, KR, WR and RB just because hes fast. I would actually be excited if we drafted him, but as others said, not with the intent of making him into something he has never been.
