    Cutler Discussion Thread-Merged

I have ZERO interest in seeing him in a Bills uni... EVER!

Hes a baby, a prima-donna without the records to back it up, and a jerk.

Hes leaving Denver IMO, and Id be suprised if the Jets didnt make a serious play. Or maybe Man-gina and the Browns?

Breaking his public silence, disgruntled Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler told Chris Mortensen of ESPN.com that he doesn't trust coach Josh McDaniels and wants to be traded.

No, I dont want him in Buffalo, but I think the Jets just might make the move for him.

Re: For the record on Cutler...

    I would rather have Cutler.

But, I ain't in hopeless mode just yet with Edwards.

I'd like Cutler but I'd also like to give Trent another year. I think Trent can be a very good QB and would hate to trade him to another team with coaches that can coach an offense better.... and then he turns into a pro bowler.

Eh cant blame him for being pissed, Josh McDaniels is in over his head and Pat Bowlen is spineless.

Id take Cutler here, but that's only because I have little to no faith in Trent.

Seeing how Edwards has been injury prone and very inconsistent, I wouldn't mind Cutler. He's very good and would give us a damn good passing threat to go with our WRs.

Re: For the record on Cutler...

Well obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion but I got to watch Edwards and Cutler in the same game and I can tell you that I'd rather have Edwards at this point.

The Diabetes is a real issue and the amount of things Cutler has to do just to play in a game tells me that his career may be very short.

The Broncos made a mistake in the way they handled this but they were fielding offers for a reason.

QBs are hard to come by in this league so when a team is anxious to trade their starting QB it's for a good reason. Somehow everyone on this board wants to ignore this.

I guarantee that the Bronocos would trade Cutler for Edwards straight up.

We have no idea what is really going down between Cutler and McDaniels. I am willing to withhold judgment on both of them since I don't know the facts. One story says Cutler is whining about being almost traded. Another story says that he asked to be traded. Who knows what's up behind the scenes?
Having said that, I like Trent. But as far as talent goes, Cutler has been much better so far.

By the way Vic Carucci nailed it in his article by saying that Cutler should "shut up" and he's proven nothing in this league.

Cutler sounds like a giant baby. Sorry but I'll pass.

Actually Caruuci artile at nfl.com explains it perfectly.

The Bronocs were approached about a trade that would have brought Cassel to Denver via Detroit. The deal was brought to them. Once Cassel was traded to the Chiefs that was the end of the trade discussions and they were no longer active.

Cutler was pissed. When they met Cutler wanted an assurance that he would not be traded. The front office said they weren't going to do that which makes sense because no team is going to make that commitment.

Cutler liked Shannahan and I do not think is real psyched about learning a brand new offense so I think he's posturing for new gig.

As good as Cutler is, I remember seeing him (more than once) go and yell and squak at the opposing team after a play rather than getting in the huddle to ensure the next play got off on-time.

Basically, he acts like a small child.

I definitely see the Jets making a play for him. Not sure where the Cutler is a great comments are coming from his record indicates something else. The guy has a big arm with a slightly bigger brain than Losman.
