Buffalo Bills to Sue EA Sports
With the recent contract dispute going on between the Buffalo Bills and Jason Peters, the Bills began to wonder where Peters gets the idea that he should be the highest paid LT in all of football.

Look no further than the depth chart on Madden 09. Jason Peters reportedly told Russ Brandon that "Madden don't lie" and he should be paid according to his madden rating.

With the 97 Overall rating, Jason Peters is the highest rated Offensive Tackle in Madden 09, and wants to be paid accordingly.

The Peters party is reportedly asking for upwards of $11.5 million per year on his contract... coincidentally enough--the same number of sacks he gave up last year.

So with the recent discovery that Peters belief that he is the Best OT in football and should be paid accordingly, the Buffalo Bills have filed a lawsuit against EA Sports for intentional infliction of emotional distress on the front office members, as well as the fans.

The Bills are reportedly asking for around $60 million in punitive damages, looking to use the money awarded to pay for Jason Peters' contract in the fashion of a 5-year $60 million deal.

Think of it this way folks... if Peters gets the type of money he is commanding, and continues to play the same way he did last year, The Buffalo Bills will pay him a Million Dollars for each sack allowed!!

Considering we're paying almost $2.5 million a sack between Schobel and Kelsay, giving our opponents a sack for $1 million each is a steal.

The Bills should settle with EA if EA puts Peters on the cover for Madden 2010. That should make him happy

Well since he is clearing a 97 in real life and the best player ever... we could probably trade him for Peyton Manning and a 1st round pick.

Is the humor of Jason Peters saying "Madden don't lie" lost on anyone? That's s*** is hilarious.

If you also notice on Madden 09 his morale is the lowest in the league. EVEN after you resign him. So i guess madden doesn't lie.

Ha, what a loser - "Madden don't lie." EA should have to give up the exclusive rights for NFL football so other game companies can compete again. NFL2K9 here we come!

That's just plain silly.

EA is just going to argue that that is their opinion... I doubt the Bills will win.

also, The Bills should sue all the players in the NFL that voted Peters to the Pro Bowl this year.

The ONLY reason he made the Pro Bowl was players looking out for his wallet.

Suing for $60 million huh?

Why do they need another $60 million, when they haven't even spent the $80 million from the Toronto series yet???

The ONLY reason he made the Pro Bowl was players looking out for his wallet.

Actually, players voted for him because they know how hard it is to play against him. They ignored the stats because they also knew how much of a liability Dock was inside him. I am not saying he had a great year last year(obviously far from it), but they vote for who they have the hardest time playing against one-on-one.
