    Peppers to Patriots?

The trade of Matt Cassel and Mike Vrabel to the Chiefs was only part of the Patriots' master plan. The next phase of the team's busy offseason appears to be the acquisition of defensive end Julius Peppers from the Panthers.

And there are rumors of Cutler to the Jets.

If those things happen, it's 0-6 in the division again.

If they do land Peppers , I see our FO paying Peters.

I seem to remember Peters owning Peppers 3 years ago when he was at RT. This is a perfect example of how valuable Peters is.

Who here is comfortable with Walker taking on Porter, Peppers, Adalius, Pace, Gholston (Ryan will get him going), 6 times a year.

LT for Buffalo just became insanely valuable.

Figures. That is why he said he wanted to play in a 3-4.

Front 7 Defense. That's what wins. Just about every time.

Chambers should easily manhandle that D if we move Walker to LT.

Why don't the Bills take notes from the Pat's. They make some of the best moves year after year.

Wilfork, Seymour, Peppers, Mayo, Bruschi, and Maualuga?? That really makes our front 7 look pathetic minus Stroud.

And JP Losman was the 11th rated passer 3 years ago, who cares.

Going by more recent history, last year, Peppers would own Peters.

Also, according to NFL sources, there is a third phase to the Patriots' offseason strategy. They would like to further beef up their linebacking corps by adding an inside linebacker in the draft. They are known to believe that USC's Rey Maualuga would be a great fit for their scheme, especially when paired with Jerod Mayo, their 2008 first-round pick who was the NFL's top defensive rookie. However, some early projections suggest it might be a long shot for Maualuga to be available for the Patriots with the 23rd overall pick.

by trading Peters away you are basically saying that we should rebuild this OL in the 4th year of this staff that you said isn't the problem.

different rules for the Pats, i hate them
they get the best deals in trades and the best Free Agents to sign cheap
They got caught cheating and it just went away
Gotta wonder with there Big Market who is really calling the shots in the NFL

We are in the toughest division in Football if not then its the second toughest. Either way we face 3 of the top pass rushes in the league. Peters is a must.

And once again. Peters might have been beat for a lot of sacks statistically speaking but in reality a lot of those were directly the fault of Edwards or Losman.

Name one game where Peters was dominated for 4 quarters.. or even 1 quarter.
