Get Pettigrew and Ayers as 2 of our picks and I would be happy.

Ayers in the top 5 is simply ridiculous Im sorry. I think Mayock is trying to rattle feathers and be right by going out on a limb and I think he's wrong. I like Ayers but not before 25.

Mayock must be hearing something about Ayers from teams. He must know that someone is going to take him early otherwise I doubt he would risk his rep like this.

He also said that he thought Whitner was a good pick at #8...how'd that work out?

He might be reached for by a 4-3 team in need of a DE.

Don't know yet how it worked out. I know we have had pretty solid pass defense and I also know that our DL doesn't get pressure on QBs which doesn't give our safeties much of an opportunity to make plays on the football.

Whitner has never been known as a guy to make plays on the ball. I dont think added pressure is suddenly going to make him into a playmaking S. He is good at what he does which is making sound tackles as a last line of defense.

Well, I'd like to see what happens if he is ever lucky enough to be in that situation.
