View Full Version : Your favorite players in the draft...

So I am not going to waste my time trying to do a mock draft with every team that wont even remotely be right. What I will do is list my top 10 players that I think would be awesome for the Bills.

You don't have to tell me that there is no way to get all these guys. I am aware. For the record, I really hope that the Bills trade down and pick up extra picks. My perfect scenario would be the Eagles wanting to trade up for someone like Crabtree and give up their 2 firsts at 20 and 28 I think, but it is unlikely. In any event, if all the moons aligned, then maybe there is someway we could end up with a few of these guys.

So these are my favorite 10:

1. B.J. Raji (DT) - BC
2. Alex Mack (C/G) - Cal
3. Ziggy Hood (DT) - Mizzo
4. Cornelius Ingram (TE) - Florida
5. Knowshawn Moreno (RB) - Georgia
6. Duke Robinson (G) - Bama
7. James Laurinaitis (LB) - Ohio St.
8. Brian Robiski (WR) - Ohio St.
9. Connor Barwin (DE) - Cincy
10. Chris Clemmons (SS) - Clemson

Curry, Crab And Raji.

Pinkerton Security

1. Curry
2. Orakpo
3. Crabtree

I also know we prolly wont get any of the three, but Curry will be a stud and would replace anyone we currently have at OLB, Orakpo would provide a pass-rushing spark, and Crabtree could take it easy this year and learn from TO and Lee, then replace TO next year when he leaves.

Mine are Eugene Monroe, OLT, Virginia
Alex Mack, C, California
Brian Cushing, OLB, Southern Cal
Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee
Michael Oher, OLT, Miisissippi
Matthew Stafford, QB, Georgia
not necessarily in that order..... By the way, on NFL Networks', Path to the Draft, Mike Lombardi said Monroe has the best feet since Tony Boselli, and that's a mouthful!!!!!

Alright, this is where your show goes a bit to far.

Is there a reason you cant simply own up to having a few top favorites?

Afterall, Michael Jackson loves everybody too. :snicker:

I did, my top favorites at each position. At least I didnt do K's, P's and RS's and I could of if I really wanted to.

Also as Nighthawk pointed out to me via PM I listed Ayers as from Clemson, he is obviously from Tennessee and I corrected that. Thanks!

Interesting list, DB. I have a couple of questions:

In light of his combine blowup, why do you have Andre Smith as the #1 OT?

I noticed you don't have Everette Brown in your top 10 DEs. Why is that?

I'm not challenging you, I just was interested in your reasoning.

Andre Smith is still a dominant tackle on film that nobody can touch. I can't put everything into his workouts. He is a star college athlete who is young and has an inflated ego. A few two a days will take care of that real quick. Im not ready to call him the next Mike Williams. Keep in mind Robert Gallery busted his butt all off season had a good combine and great pro day and was in the shape of his life entering the NFL and now he plays OG.

I dont see Brown as a DE basically. I didnt list any of the 3-4 OLB prospects as guys I like. If we played the 3-4 it would be different but they are not players Im interested in selecting.
