I know this doesn't mean much, but i hope it's not future indication. I've heard and read from several Chiefs people, that Pat Thomas was unaffectionally known in Chief-town as "Pavement Pat"-- meaning of corse he was frequently getting run over on the ground.

At least he gets in their way instead of just watching them run by.

Its funny, people are talking about him like they know who he is. You guys are talking about someone that you have never seen play and are making assumptions.

LMAO

48 tackles in 12 games for a starting MLB is pretty horrible.

but before that the guy barely saw the field for any team.

I would think he is a ST an OLB depth for the Bills if he makes the team

Who is making an assumption? I'm saying what his nickname in Kansas City was.

maybe Pat and Ellison work out together in the offseason then cause half our LBers would be worse

i have read on the KC boards and other football sites and VERY SINGLE CHIEFS FAN has said he is horrible. they all seem surprised he got a contract with another NFL team.

What we got was a player with a 1yr. contract. If he gets cut I could give a **** but he better be a backup and we better address the lb spot some more.

Maybe the team wanted a LB that "knows his role" and wont "challenge the starter" like we wanted in a QB

Do we know how much he's getting paid? Is it safe to assume it's the veteran minimum?

Could be worse. They could call him "Aunt Jemima" cause he's always getting pancaked.

I wouldn't mind this signing if I had an ounce of confidence we were still gonna sign Cato June.

Depends on whether or not he was a starter actually. Was he?

He was for 9 games I think. I don't want to sound like I am defending him but what I have read he is not a MLB which is what he played. He is more suited for OLB. He better be here for depth and not long term production or we are ****ed.
