Bills may move a second regular season game to Toronto

Apparently, the Bills may expand the Toronto package:

Within a week of Terrell Owens proclaiming he was coming to play for "North America's team," a survey conducted on behalf of Bills in Toronto organizers suggests the intention to move two regular-season Bills games to the Rogers Centre, starting as early as next year.

That would leave Bills fans with only six regular-season dates in Ralph Wilson Stadium each year.

The survey, conducted by Montreal-based internet research company Voxco, was e-mailed Friday to fans who purchased tickets to last year's game. The survey includes the following passage, which hasn't been edited:

Rogers has been listening to its Bills Fans and may be able to negotiate a new deal which will bring an additional Bills regular-season game to Toronto in each of 2010, 2011, and 2012! This now means that a quarter of the Bills home games could be played in Toronto. This would allow us to issue a new 3-Game Ticket Package for the 2010 games in Toronto. This includes tickets to 2 regular season games and 1 pre-season game, at a lower price per game than previously, for most seats. The average price per game for a variety of seating options is shown below. The total ticket prices for the 3-game pack is also shown.

Something tells me this isn't going to go over well.

If it makes em money enough to stay mainly in Buffalo, why not?

Though on the other hand, many here think the org is a joke, so a move to Canada may be a sort of pyrrhic victory...

and where is it going to stop if we keep giving them more and more games? we're going to be the buffalo bills playing 8 regular season games in toronto...

I knew they wouldn't stop there, especially now that they got a taste for Buffalo Bills football. **** You Rogers and Toronto. I didn't mind sharing one regular season game and a pre-season game with you. But that's it!

Those fans last year were a joke and an embarassment. It was basically a game at a neutral field. That would leave the Bills with 6 home games, 8 road games and 2 on neutral field.

I'm torn on this.

If the Bills reatin their Buffalo roots than a more regionalized approach is way better than no team at all. Canada has been better to the Bills than ****ing NY state.

I only worry that that team keeps moving games until there are no more left.

I blame NY state and the local Buffalo loser politicians for much of Buffalo's ills. Pittsburgh and Cleveland figured it out but we didn't.

I know that I said before that I was okay with giving them 2 games. But that was after this whole package was over. Not 1 season into it. Especially when last year bombed so bad. Plus if we give in now, it will make Rogers more hungry for the team that it won't end with 2 games. Next year they'll go up to 3 or 4.

Seriously, I've been a fan for roughly 20 years and I stuck with this team through good and bad despite being out of market in an area with 2 other NFL teams that would be MUCH easier (and cheaper) to follow.

But this piece of **** organization is trying their damnedest to drive me away. If they even consider this, Ralph and Russ Brandon can ****ing rot in hell.
