The officials' outfits would work well in Roller Derby.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Rumors are circulating that Buffalo will release a white throwback for the NE game but it's a one time deal modeled after...

Fact #13 -As part of the NFL’s 75th Anniversary Celebration in 1994, each team wore a ‘throwbacks” uniform for at least one game. The Bills wore a uniform modeled after the team’s 1964-65 version. The most distinguishing features of the throwbacks uniforms included a white standing buffalo against the red helmet and red, white, and blue striped socks. The Bills wore these uniforms for two games - a 15-7 road win at Houston (white jerseys) on 9/19/94 and a 27-20 home victory over Denver (blue jerseys) on Monday night, 9/26/94.

When the coaches were holding up the jerseys, the Bills one was our blue one, and the Pats one was white. I bet that's how they keep it for the game

But they have a red Pats one in the photo with the official's uni. From reading the articles I believe each team will have one home game and one road game designated as an AFL throwback game, and will wear home and road unis accordingly.

I'd have preferred the 61/62 look though with the UCLA inserts rather than using the throwbacks we've already got. Maybe that's just me though.

Me too, it looks far better than the Bills patch.

As far as I've been able to see the Titans/Oilers and Chiefs/Texans are the only teams without an anniversary patch, though I'm sure we'll see some from them soon and the Bills' one is by far and away the ugliest.

I have this patch hanging on my wall with the 1965 Bills Topps set.
