They are not in great shape, but are 4 behind the Rangers with a game in hand.

I See FLA Getting at least 2 points, Maybe 4, Putting them At 91 Total
FLA VS PIT (1-1-1)
FLA VS PIT (2-0-1)
FLA VS ATL (3-2-0)
FLA VS WSH (1-3-0)

I see the rangers getting 2 points, Maybe 4, ending with 93 Total
NYR Beats BOS (2-1-0)
NYR VS MON (1-2)
NRY VS PHI (2-2-0)

I see the sabres getting 2 points (MAYBE 4) from their remaining games, unless they surprise me and go all out till the end, Putting them At 89

BUF VS NJ (2-1-0)
BUF VS BOS (3-2-0)
BUF VS DET (0-1-0)
BUF VS CAR (1-1-1)

Dont Look Good.

Brodeur ends it for us.

If he even plays. He has been awful lately and was pulled last night.

Besides, didn't already say Washington was ending it?

And a loss does not end it.

I will cut you some slack because you were at the bar last night, but Brodeur didn't get pulled last night, Weeks got the start and got hurt. He did let in 3 goals on 10 shots though.

OK, I must have heard it wrong on ESPN this morning.

Point is, Brodeur has been crappy lately. Not that they won't beat the Sabres, because they might. But let's not act like he has been his usual self.

We can only hope that whoever plays goal for NJ tonight plays crappy.

remember 2006, The Edmonton Oilers were on the outside looking in just like the Sabres are now. they squeaked into the playoffs and caught their shooting star and rode it all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. So it can be done!

We don't have anything like a Ryan Smyth on our team or anything resembling the gritty players the Oilers had on that squad.
