maybe bc Buffalo is all about 1 year contracts this year. maybe they figured they could put a band aid on DE for next year so they could be more flexible come draft time. Also, this says they contacted him. Gotta figure they were at least interested in hearing his price whether they were serious about bringing him in or not.

He's better than anything we got. Go for it.

a one year as a rotating guy would work if he is rested....and he comes in on 3rd downs possibly is the idea.

I just dont see us ever getting a look over New England. At his age, im sure he would rather take less money and have a shot at the Super Bowl than play for us

1 year contract, go for it, nothing to lose.

He's still got to be better than Schobel, Denney, or Kelsay.

Do you think they just keep using white-out on the name for the one year vet minimum deal that they keep trying to push?

If they really want someone they can get it done. Money talks... plenty.

Wouldnt mind him one bit on a 1 or 2 year deal. Would basically stop us from taking a DE early though this year.

Maybe Hunt in 3rd-4th for Taylors future replacement along with Chris Ellis.

Dont see it, we have 4 DE's under contract right now;
Kelsay
Schobel
Denney
Ellis

Adding a 5th in Taylor and I don't see another DE being added till late in the draft (6th or 7th), if at all.

Do those 4 guys count as DE's?

As ineffective as our guys have been, I think Taylor would be really terrible here.

I see Kelsey getting walking papers if that happened.

Because.....?

Money commitment for him to come up here, dropoff in stats, recent injuries, age...
