    TE Cook still mixing ingredients

Each Monday, Wednesday and Friday Buffalobills.com will be profiling some of the top talent in the 2009 draft class to give you a little more insight on some of the better prospects available this spring. They will coincide positionally with all of the draft preview features that run in the media lounge on Buffalobills.com where you can see some of the top prospects in action.

In a deep class of pass catching tight ends, South Carolina’s Jared Cook has the same thing every one of the other prospects at his position has, a good set of hands. He also has something most of them don’t, elite physical skills.

A day before his combine workout in late February, Cook was asked what he expected to run for a 40-time.

“I’m not sure yet,” he said. “Hopefully I can get in the 4.4s.”

I'd be happy if he was available in the 3rd round. He's arguably worth a 2nd, but I'd really like to see us spend our first 2 picks on the OL/DL.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

Id like to see him work on his blocking and put on some more muscle even if it costs him a little speed.

6ft 5 245lbs and a recieving threat is what we need to open up offense
blocking can easily be developed with good coaching
we need someone to get open underneath and Cook looks solid at that
i like him and Coffman alot

I think you underestimate how hard blocking is. Its not quite that simple.
